First off, I personally don't feel I should know everything about their lives. I have a hard enough time
keeping track of stuff in my own life. I'm into them for their music. Always have been.

I really don't care what they like to eat or drink, like they are really going
to come over to my house and have dinner. I'm not interested in what vehicles they drive. If they are married or what have you, does it really concern me?
Do I really need to know any of that stuff? No!
I mean it's great that they are willing to share and open enough to let the fans into their lives.
I just don't think it's any of my business to go deep into their personal stuff.
I forget where I read/heard this, but James was out with his girl having some Me-time. A fan recognized him and bought him a drink. Then proceeded to try and join
James's table. James tried to be polite, but the guy couldn't get it through his skull that this person (James) had no idea who he (the fan) was. The fan started mumbling off
hand remarks like 'he'd been a fan for this-length-of-time' and that kind of stuff. James got fed up and it got a little ugly. He (James) just happens to be in a world known
band. That doesn't mean he knows everyone in the world. They (any star) aren't obligated to be our friends just becuase we are their fans. Get over it. Buy them a drink and move on. You'll have a nice
memory of your favorite star.
All I need to know about Metallica is when the next album is released and when the concert dates are set. Everything else they (the band) provide is gravy.
